Boston Police Department recently completed a day of training with the L-Tron team focused on the OSCR360 hardware and software for crime scene investigation, scene documentation, and case organization. The training occurred over two sessions on November 13th and included approximately two-dozen members of Boston Police Department’s Crime Scene Response Unit.
L-Tron has returned from a successful trip to the 60th Annual Florida IAI Forensic Educational Training Conference, held in Fort Lauderdale. The conference took place from October 20-23, 2019. and is the largest state-run division conference of the IAI (International Association for Identification).
Technology in the courtroom is nothing new. It arrived 150 years ago. Photography made its first courtroom appearances in the U.S. in the 1870s, followed by the first fingerprint identification and a criminal conviction in Argentina in 1892.
L-Tron & OSCR360 are getting ready to exhibit at the NYS Innovation Summit. Held annually, this year’s summit is at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, October 7th and 8th 2019.

The team is on the road again, and OSCR360 headed back to South Carolina last week. The team prepared for a busy week full of OSCR demos, with visits scheduled in Summerville, Florence County, Cayce, Greenwood, Hanahan and Orangeburg County.
The OSCR360 Team is on the move again, this time traveling to California to meet with departments in the Golden State.
