Every holiday season, L-Tron makes it a point to give back as a company. The unique thing about L-Tron, however, is that “giving back” means a whole lot more than simply writing a check to an organization. Instead, the process is collaborative, involves the entire team, and often lasts throughout the entire year. The collective generosity of our team speaks volumes about the type of company L-Tron is.
In our most recent blog, we shared a bit about our pet-loving office & introduced the L-Tron team’s office pets. L-Tron owners, RAD and Gayle, have created a warm & inclusive company culture, embracing each of us for who we are – and for many of us, our pets are a big part of that! Prior to the COVID pandemic, several of us would bring our furry friends into the office for visits. Now, most of us are working remotely with our animals right by our sides.
What are some of the pros and cons of having a pet-friendly office?
For many of us, 2020 has been the year that wouldn’t end. It’s been challenging in many ways and different than any year we’ve known in our lifetimes. At L-Tron, we’ve certainly seen our fair share of ups & downs, but we are so grateful that we’ve been able to continue serving our customers without interruption. During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, L-Tron began the process of hiring a new sales team member. We weren’t quite sure how to navigate hiring a new employee virtually, but our new employee, Gary, has helped to make the process pain-free. Welcome to the team, Gary!
At the end of a long work week, most 9-5 corporate employees want to kick off their shoes, relax and have a nice cold brew. Luckily at L-Tron, we have happy hour together every Friday – and since most of us have been working remotely, our shoes are already kicked-off.
L-Tron closed out January with an in-office Super Bowl party. Super Bowl LIV (that’s 54), marks the NFL’s 100th year.
