We have found that Advantech ATX, Micro-ATX, and mini-ITX form factor industrial motherboards provide a cost-effective solution in manufacturing, assembly, test and measurement. These motherboards support processors ranging from Socket 479 Pentium® M/Celeron® M to Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3/Pentium®/Xeon® and support DDR3 and SATA2 technology. Each of these solutions provide a form factor that accommodates applications with smaller space requirements and can be utilized in rack mount and wall mount/desktop systems.
Our PICMG 1.0 and PICMG 1.3 Single Board Computers support processors ranging from Socket 370 Pentium® III/Celeron® to Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Xeon and have come up to speed with DDR3 and SATA 2 technology. The interfacing of an SBC to one of Advantech’s passive backplanes allows for multiple I/O dependent configurations along with the ability to accommodate legacy ISA and PCI customer applications. These computers can be configured in a rack mount or shoebox system and allow users access of up to 20 I/O slots.
