In my ten years of Industrial Computing Sales at L-Tron Corporation, I’ve definitely come up with better tag lines. Managed Redundant Switches allow the user to expand their industrial network fast and cost-effectively, while an Unmanaged Switch offers outstanding performance, dependability and overall “bang for your buck.”
For mobile vehicle applications, in which severe shock and vibration are a factor, EN50155 certification provides reliable transmission for the following applications:
- Video surveillance
- High speed rail
- Subways
- Trams
When it comes to dusty environments, the IP30-rated Power over Ethernet (PoE) modules will get the job done and also eliminate the need for additional wiring. Lastly, Industrial Ethernet Converters are best utilized to transmit Gigabit Ethernet or Fast Ethernet networks into Gigabit or Ethernet fiber optic networks.
At the end of the day, Industrial Ethernet Switches and Media Converters have the ability to successfully transmit via Fast Ethernet to Gigabit, copper to fiber optic, and Power over Ethernet.
