Featuring a compact, fanless design, this industrial touch panel computer functions in a wide range of temperatures and is compliant with Energy Star requirements.
Industrial Touch Panel Computer Operates in Challenging Environmental Conditions
L-Tron Corporation has added the latest touch panel computer from Advantech Corporation to its extensive line of rugged and industrial computers. The new 15” TPC-1551H operates with an Intel® Atom™ Z520 1.33 GHz processor, enabling this touch panel to run smoothly in a wide range of operating temperatures and to achieve Energy Star approval for low power consumption.
With a slim design of only 58mm (2.29”), this fanless computer is designed to function in temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F) and as high as 60°C (140°F). Ideal for machine and factory automation applications and use within the power and energy industries, the 1551H is easily installable in small spaces that do not allow for thicker touch panel designs. This touch panel computer model supports Windows 7, Windows XP embedded, WinCE and Linux, allowing for effortless integration with existing machinery and systems. L-Tron also offers Advantech’s HDD bracket kit to allow any standard hard drive unit to be installed.
As with all of Advantech’s industrial designs, the 1551H is highly durable and resistant to damaging environmental factors. Equipped with a NEMA4/IP65 compliant front panel, this touch panel also has a gasket between the touch screen and its die-cast Al alloy front bezel, providing added protection against dust. The 1551H additionally protects against electrical shorts, surges and ground loops with 2KV isolation protection on its serial ports.
