L-Tron has specialized in providing world-class data capture hardware and software for the government, healthcare, law enforcement, logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing industries for nearly fifty years. From supplying off-the-shelf software and hardware products to engineering customized technology solutions in-house, L-Tron is proud to provide our wide range of clientele with workflow solutions to increase efficiency and improve their bottom line.
Our humble beginnings date back to 1975, when founder Lee Fasoli established the company as a barcode scanner reseller in the basement of his home. In the years to follow, the company was purchased and successfully expanded by Fasoli’s daughter, Gayle F. DeRose and her husband, RAD DeRose. Almost five decades later, L-Tron remains family-run and continues to flourish under the operation and ownership of Trevor DiMarco.
Over the years, the company has experienced significant growth from what was once a small business to a company that now partners with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies across all 50 states and Canada. We were awarded our first U.S. Patent in 2022 and we are recognized as an ISO 9001:2015-certified company. Though our growth has been substantial, we continue to perform our day-to-day operations with excellence, integrity and quality, consistently abiding by our motto:

Our customers have always come first, and listening to feedback from our clients is essential. Our team of in-house engineers have developed several products, built directly from the voices of our customers. We are proud to offer OSCR360, the 4910LR, and the 4910LR Magnetic Mount to improve safety and efficiency for our public safety clients.
The OSCR360 System
When crime scene investigators and prosecutors shared how difficult it was for juries to fully grasp the intricacies of a crime scene the idea for OSCR360 was set into motion.
Our patented OSCR360 technology is an everyday, multi-use tool for crime, crash, and fire investigations, courtroom prosecution, and emergency pre-planning and training. The OSCR360 software allows users to better organize and present their cases, while the OSCR360 capture kit allows for faster and simpler scene documentation. OSCR360 is fast, easy-to-use, and continues to evolve as we implement the new features that our public safety customers request.
The 4910LR Driver’s License Reader
When law enforcement agencies first began recognizing electronic citations as safe and effective alternatives to time-consuming, error-prone handwritten traffic citations, they expressed interest in a barcode scanner that was designed specifically for the patrol vehicle.
Rather than a clunky “librarian-style” scanner, we built our 4910LR Driver’s License Reader in the recognizable, ergonomic shape of an officer’s radio mic. The 4910LR answered our client’s requests for added safety, comfort, speed, ease-of-use, and accuracy at roadside stops, with a product that was created just for them.
The 4910LR reads barcodes on driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations and auto–populates driver data into electronic citations and reports, reducing the time patrol officers spend completing administrative tasks on the roadside.
The 4910LR Magnetic Mount
The 4910LR Driver’s License has been well-received by Patrol Officers since its inception, but we discovered that many officers were tossing their scanners onto the passenger seat between roadside stops, creating a potential safety hazard. After listening to feedback from our clients, we developed the Magnetic Mount to better store the 4910LR safely, quickly and securely.
