Gabrielle Struzik has joined the L-Tron Team and we couldn’t be happier!
Our newest team member joins us as our Marketing Associate, which means she’ll be working on the company website, posting on our social media accounts, editing blog content, creating infographics, and more. Between her past marketing experience and her amiable personality, she is already fitting in nicely.
More Than Just Graphic Design
Gab (as she prefers to be called) earned dual degrees in Marketing and Graphic Design from Alfred State College. While her college art classes focused on web and digital art, her true passion for the arts shines outside of the classroom. In her free time, Gab loves the traditional arts, such as drawing and painting with acrylics on canvas.
The irony is that when she first learned to paint in high school, she hated it. Always up for a challenge, Gab was determined to improve. She spent many hours in the studio practicing various techniques and slowly grew to love painting. Later, during the Covid pandemic, she spent hours and hours painting. In fact, her home is filled with numerous canvases to prove it.
Life’s Simple Pleasures
From what we have gathered so far, Gab is not a difficult girl to please. Give her a nice, lengthy fantasy novel and a delicious Belgian waffle from her local diner (topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar, of course) and she’ll be perfectly content for hours.
Though the fantasy genre is her preference, she’s not into a lot of the mainstream titles. In fact, she purposely doesn’t read the books everyone else is talking about. She would rather grab “books that are really thick and heavy like a brick” that have not yet been discovered by the masses.
Just like everyone else, Gab does get overwhelmed from time to time, but the good news is that there’s an easy fix. In these moments, there’s a good chance you’ll find her en-route to the nearest McDonalds for her “stress food,” French fries and Dr. Pepper. A habit that she picked up during her late nights at college, a little McDonalds always seems to do the trick!
Since Gab is an easy-going person, it took her several minutes to come up with anything she truly dislikes. But then a major pet peeve came to mind:
Drivers who tailgate.
She explained, “I drive a punch bug and I hate when really big pickup trucks tail little cars. Just because I’m little doesn’t mean you can be mean to me!”
Fair enough. Let’s all give Gab plenty of space on the roadway!
L-Tron’s M-Team
Gab is beyond excited about her new position, in more ways than one.
“Everyone here at L-Tron has been very welcoming and very friendly and happy to talk to me. There is a lot of work to do and there are a lot of exciting opportunities for me ahead here that sound really fun, like going to conferences in the future and meeting customers. Plus, it sounds like this position will keep me busy, so I’ll never be bored!”
We think it’s safe to say you will not be bored here at L-Tron. Welcome to the team Gabrielle Struzik!
