L-Tron Corporation to Exhibit at Iowa’s Governor’s Highway Traffic Safety Conference
L-Tron Corporation will be exhibiting at the Meadows Events and Conference Center on March 19-20, 2013 as part of the Governor’s Highway Traffic Safety Conference in Altoona, Iowa. L-Tron will showcase their brand new 4910LR-151-LTRK Microphone-Style Driver’s License Area Imaging Scanner, along with the company’s cutting-edge e-citation solutions and patrol vehicle equipment .
The rugged 4910 License Reader, which is powered by Honeywell’s Adaptus® Imaging Technology 6.0, captures data from driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations, and laptop screens at traffic stops, accident scenes and incident scenes. Designed in a portable and compact radio microphone form-factor, the aggressive 4910LR easily scans barcodes, images and signatures using a red LED backlight and green LED aiming bar. The License Reader is fully compatible with TraCS 7.x and 10.x, as well as other law enforcement software programs .
The objective of Iowa’s Governor’s Highway Traffic Safety Conference is to “bring together key local, state, federal and private sector traffic safety professionals to discuss important issues, share strategies and highlight successes in the quest to improve traffic safety” in Iowa and throughout the nation. The conference agenda will include workshops, educational sessions, and award-winning speaker, Officer Jermaine Galloway. Conference attendees will also be able to record a traffic safety public service announcement to use within their own home communities.
