The L-Tron team is excited to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day 2018!
In honor of Administrative Professionals Day, the L-Tron Office teamed together to recognize Cathy, Marisa and Doris for their hard work in the office. Each of these ladies works tirelessly to provide exemplary service to our internal customers (their co-workers) and external customers. Marisa and Cathy are both on the L-Tron Operations team, while Doris manages the front of our office – greeting guests when they arrive. All three ladies manage our phone lines and can be the first person any of our customers speak to. Aside from helping with literally everything and anything, all three always do their job with a smile and are always willing to help.
To recognize these important members of the L-Tron Team, each person in the office signed a card for the ladies, and shared some reasons why they appreciate them. All three admins also received a Starbuck’s giftcard and some flowers. We love our Administrative professionals and could not get by without them. Thank you for everything that you do!
About Administrative Professionals Day
Administrative Professionals Day honors the work of secretaries, administrators, assistants and other office personnel. It is typically observed on the Wednesday of Administrative Professionals week (April 21st to 27th 2018), however L-Tron will be celebrating on Tuesday in order to include Doris in our celebrations.
Administrative Professionals week dates back to 1952, when the International Association of Administrative Professionals campaigned for national recognition from the government. The date was formerly known as National Secretary’s Day, but was changed in 2000 to be more inclusive of changing job titles.
An estimated 8.9 million workers currently hold administrative support roles in the US and Canada.
So how can you show your administrative support team some love this week?
- Take them to lunch.
- Buy them flowers.
- Thank them for their help.
- Buy them a cup of coffee or tea.
- Share a story about how they have helped or personally touched you.
