The DS6700 series is a direct replacement for the DS6600 Series from Symbol Technologies providing unmatched performance in the digital scanning of images and one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) bar codes. Built to read bar codes omni-directionally, the DS6700 Series improves productivity for all data capture activities across your enterprise.

In retail outlets, the device can capture data embedded in a PDF417 code from a United States driver's license to automatically populate credit card applications and merchandise credit/return forms. This improves productivity and keeps customer lines moving.

For capturing images and bar codes, the DS6708 is ideal. If image capture and transfer capability is what you need, the DS6707 is perfect for today's applications, such as digital document storage and processing, as well as for image capture applications of the future.
